Jacob Bryce Allen, age 28 was born July 8th,1993 in Springfield, MO, passed away September 7th, 2021 in Linn, MO.
Jacob was a sergeant with a 6 year career with the Department of Corrections, starting in Algoa Correctional center in Jefferson City, MO and was currently at Fulton Induction and Diagnostic Center in Fulton, MO. Jake was very passionate about his job, and took great pride in his career. He loved and respected his coworkers.
Jacob is survived by his father Larry Allen of Marshfield, MO, his mother Cyndi Sons of Lufkin, TX, his step-father Paul Sons of Brumley, Mo, sister Rebecca Sweighauser, husband Eric, children Toby and Sage, sister Mindi Williams husband Henry, children Austin, Cali, Gage , step-sister Janet Shelton husband Kenny, children Makena, Brayleigh, and Kinslee, step-sister Katy Vaught husband Shawn children Heather, Hayden, Adeline, Braden, Rylan, Brielle.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Frank Allen, maternal grandmother Juanita McDonald, step-paternal grandmother Delphia Sons
Jacob loved all his family very much and loved spending time with them all. Jacob will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends and co-workers.
Jacob may your light shine into the galaxies far, far away.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be in the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
