Stanley Eugene Beiermann

 
 

Stanley Eugene Beiermann, 79, passed away peacefully on Dec. 20, 2024, at The Maples in Springfield, Missouri. Born July 22, 1945, in Carrollton, Illinois, to Eugene and Gertrude (Goetten) Beiermann, Stan grew up in Jerseyville, Illinois.

Stan's education began at Holy Ghost grade school in Jerseyville, Illinois, followed by his graduation from Jersey Community High School. During his formative years, he developed a strong work ethic, assisting his parents and others with various tasks in their rural farming community to help support his family.

A dedicated pharmacist, Stan graduated from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis in 1968 as a member of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity. He proudly served as a hospital pharmacist for over 50 years, beginning at St. Mary's Health Center and concluding his career at Mercy Hospital. He cherished his colleagues, students, and his involvement with the College of Pharmacy.

Stan married Karen Creel of St. Louis on Oct. 4, 1968. They shared a loving marriage of 56 years, raising their two sons and enjoying the companionship of several beloved pets in Creve Coeur, Missouri. He cherished keeping in touch with his childhood friends from Jerseyville, following St. Louis sports teams, and embarking on travels with Karen throughout the United States and Europe. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Stan cherished time with his family and valued his enduring friendships. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and generously supported various charitable causes.

Stan is preceded in death by his wife, Karen; his parents; his in-laws, Norman and Marie Creel; and his brother-in-law, John Achs.

He is survived by his children, Christopher Beiermann (beloved daughter-in-law Nicole) of Battlefield, Missouri, and Jeffrey Beiermann of Troy, Illinois; his sisters and brothers, Mary Kay of St. Louis, Judy Jacobsen (John) of Columbia, IL, Dennis (Denise) of Stillwater, MN and Roger of St. Louis, sister-in-law Marge Achs; his grandchildren, Bryce and Noah Weidemann, Gracie, Joshua, and Aiden Beiermann; his nieces, Jennifer Mann (Tim), Angela Achs; nephews, Jesse, Brett (Chelsea) and Gene Beiermann (Courtney); and his great nieces and nephews, Connor Achs, Vinny, Ava, Chloe, Aubrey and Alex Beiermann.   

A Memorial Mass and Reception will be held on Feb. 1, 2025, at noon at St. Richard's Catholic Church in St. Louis, followed by a reception. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Richard's Parish or the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis. Donations can be left in the care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., P.O.
