Betty Lou Waddell
Betty Lou Waddell, Seymour, was born January 15, 1938 in Laclede County, MO to Virgil and Helen (Davis) Massey. She departed this life on March 31, 2020 in Glenwood Healthcare, Seymour, at the age of 82.
Betty earned her bachelor’s degree at SMSU in 1959 and her master’s degree at MU in 1970. Betty enjoyed sewing, and was a licensed private pilot. She had worked as a substitute teacher for Fordland and Seymour schools.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Waddell; children, Steven Waddell, Ava, Jeffery Waddell (Celia), Seattle, WA, and Stacy Mitchell (Robert) Arroyo Grande, CA; siblings, Jerry Massey and Ronald Massey, Springfield; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Cremation is entrusted to the care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, MO.
