Bonita Louise Spink, Challis, ID, was born August 16, 1950. She departed this life on September 14, 2021 at the age of 71.

Bonita babysat out of her home for many years. She had a great love for children. She later worked at Willow Brook in Springfield, MO, working there until she and her husband, Ken, partially retired. They decided to take off on their next adventure in Idaho, owning and operating Challis Lodge and Lounge. They made many friends, and after running this business for many years they sold out and completely retired. They loved to travel, so they bought a motor home. They spent summers in Idaho and winters in Laughlin, Nevada. Bonita loved going to the casino. The most important thing in her life was her beloved poodle, Mr. Tanner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henery and Beatrice (Krier) Willis; two brothers, Paul Willis and Steven Willis; and one granddaughter, Ashley McGinnis.

Bonita is survived by her husband of thirty years, Ken Spink of Idaho; two sisters, Barbara (Sissy) Wheeler of Marshfield and Kathy Meads of Marshfield; her three children, Jeff and Jean Willis of Pittsburg, Regina Steen of Marshfield, and Sara and John Oneal of Niangua; two stepdaughters, Cindy Hathcock of Idaho, Susan Bootier of Idaho; and a host of grandkids, great-grandkids, family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on October 9, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the North Park, 307 Banning, Marshfield. Jack Graves will be speaking at the service.
