Bonnie May Kunze
BONNIE MAY KUNZE, daughter of Vernon and Ruth (Greer) Sarginson, was born on March 6, 1949, in Alton, Illinois, and passed away on March 2, 2019, at her home, in Seymour.
Early in life she professed her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
She received her LPN through the Hillsboro, Illinois Medical Hospital. She loved to cook. For many years she was the cook for the Seymour Inn. Her children especially loved it when she would make fried chicken. In her free time she enjoyed watching cooking shows or old westerns and listening to Elvis. She was very talented in sewing, knitting and crocheting. As a young mother, she would take her boys fishing with her. They can vividly remember that she could stand on the creek bank and shoot water moccasins around them, keeping them safe while they would fish.
Bonnie was always there for her family and they will miss her deeply, especially her special laughter.
She is survived by her four children: Michael Sarginson, of Seymour, Christopher Sarginson, of Seymour, Heather Kelderman, of Seymour and Kyle Reymond, of Greenville, IL; one sister: Donna Sertl, of Newnen, GA; seven grandchildren: Michael, Donavon, Shaelyn, Myla, KeAuna, Raven, Graham; one great-grandchild: Jakob.
