Sherry Lynn Brown

Sherry Lynn Brown, daughter of Homer and Betty (Rose) Ragsdale, was born December 23, 1960 in Marshfield. She passed away at 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2024 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 63.

Sherry was a homemaker and attended New Beginning’s Southern Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Robert Rippee; brother, Richard Ragsdale; brother-in-law, Bernie Ghys; niece, Rachel Adkins; and a nephew, Stephen Ghys.

Survivors include her husband William; two daughters and their husbands, Racheal and Dan Dulany, Marshfield and Amanda Lansdown and Matthew Guy, Strafford; her mother, Betty Ragsdale, Marshfield; one sister, Barbara Ghys, Marshfield; sister-in-law, Deanna Ragsdale, Springfield; mother-in-law, Oleta Brown, Conway; seven grandchildren, Alex Brown, Katrina Rippee, Robert Lansdown, Ellie Guy, MacKayla Dulany, McKenna Dulany and Aleesia Dulany; one great-grandchild, Kohen Rippee; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2024 in Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-7:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
