Carla Diane Christian

Carla Diane Christian, Fordland, was born October 1, 1966, to Thomas and Opal (Barton)   Dalton. She departed this life February 12, 2025, in Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 58 years.

She is preceded in death by her father,  Thomas Dalton, Sr.; and Walter and Louise    Christian, her sister-in-law, Connie Dalton and Betty Pruitt, Grandparents Burl and Ruby Barton, Orville and Nola Dalton.

She is survived by her spouse, Bobby Call of the home; her mother, Opal Worley of Springfield; the father of her children, Junior Christian; three children, Justin Christian of Springfield, Janie Jones and husband Thaddous of Springfield, Joey Christian of Springfield; three step-children, Jason Call of Republic, Jeremy Call of Republic, Amy Salters (Craig) of Springfield; two brothers, Gary Dalton of Oklahoma, Thomas Dalton, Jr., of Springfield; sister & best friend, Sandra Dalton of Springfield, four grandchildren, Jessie, Jon, Julie, Jimmie; three step grandchildren, Jayden, Jenna, and Jules; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Growing up Carla had two older brothers and over 40 cousins that made her to be tough as nails until her last breath. Carla’s eyes were bright as the stars in the sky.

Carla enjoyed hooking (crocheting). Skunks were her favorite animal and she enjoyed their scent. She was a very simple person and lived her life the same way.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 17, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, Missouri., with visitation to follow.
