David "Cooter" Barton

Lloyd David “Cooter” Barton, Marshfield, was born November 21, 1956 in Canyonville, OR to Burl D. and Ruby Jane (Wilson) Barton. He departed this life on Sunday, December 2, 2018 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 62.

Cooter was a farmer, and he attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Annie Alexander, May Bell, Jean Willis, Fay VanDorn, and Carol Barton.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Zaino and Michael, Marshfield, MO; three grandchildren, Aubrey, Kylie, and Layton; and his siblings, Fontella Grigsby, Kansas City, MO, Bonnell Carroll, Springfield, OR, Opal Worley, Springfield,MO, Susie Page, Marshfield, MO, Linda West, Marshfield, MO, Mark Barton, Marshfield, MO, Bethel Bagley, Walnut Grove, MO, and Marilyn “Jo” Bagley, Marshfield, MO.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 4491 State Hwy. KK, Rogersville, MO, with Rev. Eric Nissen officiating, followed by burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 Wednesday, December 5 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield
