David Clarence Taylor

David Clarence Taylor, Springfield, was born March 6, 1949 in Springfield, MO to Clarence and Luella (Hessee) Taylor. He departed this life on Sunday, September 23, 2018 in his home at the age of 69.

David was a Vietnam veteran, having served his country in the United States Army. He worked at French’s for 32 years. David was of the Baptist faith. His family was the most important thing in his life, he adored his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and two sons, Justin Taylor and Dave Taylor.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy; his daughters Lesley Smith (Kenny), Jasper, AR, and Kristen Knapp (Dan), Springfield, MO; a sister, Dorothy Snow (Jr.), Springfield, MO; brothers Jim Taylor (Sue), Missoula, MT, Roy Taylor, Springfield, MO, and Larry Taylor (Debbie), Ozark, MO; and six grandchildren, Aaron Jones, Jamie Taylor, Dalton Smith, Allison Taylor, Jacob Knapp, and Rozlyn Taylor.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2018, in Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, with visitation before the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Marshfield Cemetery.
