Debra Kalynn (Barnett) Graybill of Marshfield, was born August 27, 1960 in Springfield, MO to Bethel and Linda (Townlian) Barnett. She departed this life on April 10, 2020, in her home at the age of 59.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bethel Barnett; and her brother, Curtis Barnett.

She is survived by her mother, Linda Barnett; her children, Tiffany McClain, Springfield, Kelsey Smoot (Chris), Fair Grove, and Austin Graybill (Janessa), Marshfield; her sister, Beth Dudgeon (Barry), North Port, FL; Nieces and Nephews; Jessica Cunniff (Jon), and their children, Greenville, SC,  Caleb Barnett (Nikki) and their children, Hawkinsville, GA, Danielle Finch (Colby), and their children, Hawkinsville, GA,  Brianna and Nathaniel Dudgeon, North Port, FL, and seven grandchildren; Bailey, Camden and Haddie Smoot; Olivia, Brooklyn, Philip, and Audrey Graybill.

Debi worked at Grizzly Industrial, where she made many friends, as she easily does. Prior to this, she was a Correctional Officer, for the Webster County Sheriff’s Department for over 15 years. Debi met many lifelong friends during this time.

Debi loved being Memaw and doing fun things with her grandbabies. When she was with her grandkids having fun and making memories, that is right where she wanted to be. One thing is for sure, and that is when she came to see her grandbabies, she was loaded down with sweets and goodies. Her joy in life was making sure she put smiles on their faces, while they were doing fun crafts or activities together making memories.

Our Mom taught us that the biggest things in life are the little things. She taught us that love and memories are far more important than anything money can buy. She often bought us gifts containing a mustard seed. This was her reminder to us, that the smallest seed was powerful enough to move a mountain. She loved Jesus. She loved his Amazing Grace. She loved with her whole heart.

Debi loved the outdoors. On a sunny day, you could bet she was out somewhere with a fishing pole, a bucket of worms, and a cold Dr Pepper.

Many of our friends over the years, also called her, “Mom”, and that was something that brought her great joy.  She was proud of her kids and grandbabies. If you ever ran into our Mom, she would add a good 15 minutes to your shopping experience, scrolling through her phone showing you pictures.

Our hearts are broken that she is gone from this earth, and she will be greatly missed by many. She would want us to keep smiling, laughing, and live each day to the fullest. She was one of a kind and we will miss her love, humor, huge giving heart, and most of all her big hugs.
