Ernestine Kammerer

Ernestine Goldie (Wommack) Kammerer was born August 6, 1922 in Strafford, MO to Earnest and Goldie (Bruton) Wommack. She departed this life on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in the Marshfield Care Center at the age of 95.

Ernestine observed the gospel early in life, and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was formerly employed as business manager at the Exotic Animal Paradise gift shop. She was united in marriage to Roy Kammerer on June 6, 1941.

Ernestine is survived by her son, Kenneth Kammerer and his wife Marsha, Marshfield, MO; Phyllis Kammerer, Marshfield, MO; her sister-in-law Dorothy Wommack; eight grandchildren, Tabitha Burgess, Allen Kammerer, Donavan Sardeson, Justin Sardeson, Kenna Turner, Bryan Kammerer, Angela Bettlach, and Geoffrey Kammerer; 22 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Kammerer; her son, Edward Kammerer; her brothers, Glenn and Gilbert; and her late husband, Paul Sandoz.

Funeral services for Ernestine Kammerer will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 in Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., with burial following in Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
