Eva Loue Smith

Eva Loue Smith, daughter of David Homer Alexander and Eva Eliza (Clemens) Alexander, was born June 13, 1929 in Marshfield, MO. She passed away a 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in Webco Manor, Marshfield at the age of 88.

Eva Loue was a 1946 graduate of Marshfield High School and she retired from the Greene County Assessor’s office. Eva Loue was an avid reader and especially enjoyed reading the Bible. She always looked forward to family get together's and celebrations.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, David H. “JR” Alexander, Everett Alexander and LeRoy Alexander; and one sister, Willa Belle Wilson.

Survivors include one son and his wife, Gary and Peggy Smith, Strafford; three grandchildren, Cynthia Torres, Nevada,  Zachary Smith, Springfield, Kyle Smith, Strafford; four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brookelyn, Meygan and Autumn; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be at 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2018 with visitation to follow in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Interment will be in the Marshfield Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s or the charity of the donor’s choice in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc, P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, MO 65706.
