Richard Dale Graves

Richard Dale Graves, Marshfield, was born October 23, 1950 to Harley and Dora (Terry) Graves. He departed this life on November 30, 2022 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 72.

Richard enjoyed carpentry, which led to his career as a residential contractor and remodeler. He was an excellent craftsman. Some of his other hobbies were buying cars, riding his Harley, going to auctions, and coin collecting. Richard loved watching fireworks on the 4th of July. He liked listening to 60’s music and whistling with the songs. He had served in the United States Navy. Richard was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Vernon Graves and Raydean Graves.

Richard is survived by his wife, Georgia Kay (Tarr) Graves; two daughters, Brandy Rice and husband James, Marshfield, and Amy Clair and husband Caleb, Marshfield; his siblings, Norma Robinson, Sullivan, Nancy Williams, Marshfield, and Jimmy Graves and wife Arlene, St. Louis; four grandchildren, Devyn Rice, Alex Rice, Jared Clair, and T.J. Clair.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2022, with visitation to follow, in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will be at a later date in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
