Mary Elizabeth Griffin

Mary Elizabeth Griffin, Marshfield, was born March 31, 1940 in Marshfield to John and Christine (Willis) Zigelhoffer. She departed this life on February 7, 2022 in Cox South Hospital at the age of 81.

Mary enjoyed cooking and crafts. She loved babies, which led her to work in a maternity ward for 32 years as an LPN. Mary was a member of St. Ann’s Parish, Wichita.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Morley Griffin.

Mary is survived by her children, Mark Griffin and wife Sherry, Bella Vista, AR, Marvin Griffin and wife Crystal, Wichita, KS, and Monte Griffin, Las Vegas, NV; her siblings, George Zigelhoffer and wife Dorothy, Riverside, MO, Ralph Zigelhoffer and wife Betty, Clearwater, KS, and Judy Luttrell, Marshfield; and two grandchildren, Brendan Griffin and Lindsey Griffin.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., with interment following in Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 in the funeral home.
