Juanita Mae Howerton, Marshfield, was born October 31, 1945, to Bill and Betha Pendergrass in Fair Grove, Missouri. She departed this life February 27, 2025, in her home surrounded by family at the age of 79 years.

Juanita was a valued employee of Kroger for twenty-six years, she always planned a get together with her Kroger family. Every year she looked forward to gathering her Fair Grove class of 1964 together. When she wasn't spending time with her family you could always find her at the casino.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-eight years, Grayson Howerton, they met April of 1962 and they married December 28, 1962; her brother, George Pendergrass; her sisters, Nola Williamson, Zola Shelburn, Mary Stamper; her great grandchild, Hayden Olivia Creech.

 She is survived by her daughters, Donna Burd and David of Long Lane, Missouri, Janet Creech and Shane of Pittsburg, Missouri; six grand-children, Whyatt and Tina Creech of Baxter Springs, Kansas, Hamilton and Curtis Kneezle of Lebanon, Cami Moore and Austin of Marshfield, Casey Creech and Mike Callanan of St. Gen, Missouri, Dalton Cameron and Mallory of Hope, Arkansas, Darrick Burd of Sedalia, Missouri; nine great grandchildren, Grayson Creech, Hadley Ann Creech, Dakston Burd, Owen Burd, Mason Moore, Paislie Lancaster, Macie Moore, Maebry Cameron, Magnolia Kneezle; her siblings, Wilma and Leonard Cardwell of Marshfield, Glen & Judy Pendergrass of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, Jeanie and Don Replogle of Marshfield, and Sharon Frahm of Appleton, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, Missouri, visitation will be before services Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

Interment will be at a later date in Cedar Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
