Kenneth J. Lumley
Kenneth J. Lumley, son of Ed and Mable Lumley was born September 29, 1938, near Fair Grove, MO, and passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 in his home at the age of 78, surrounded by his loved ones.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Elba (Thomason) Lumley; his parents; seven brothers, Leo, Raymond, Herman, Edgar, Howard, Donnel, and Wendel; four sisters, Lucille Dykes, Evelyn Bell, Theida Fox, and Georgia Helton.
Survivors include four brothers, Loyd Lumley, Bill Lumley, Larry Lumley, and Gary Lumley; three sisters, Edna Davis, Shirley Trogdon, and Anna Lou Thomas; two sons, Kenneth Lumley, Marshfield, David Lumley and his wife, Melissa, Marshfield; three daughters, Jane Frazier and her husband, Robert, Fargo, North Dakota, Ronda Williams and her husband Doug, Marshfield, Tammy Young and her husband, Bobby, Marshfield; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Kenneth and Elba married on July 22, 1962. Kenneth was a janitor for both the Marshfield and Fair Grove school districts for many years, and later on retired from Midwest Products. Kenneth attended Four River Church in Marshfield, where he found much joy. His greatest joy was found in his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. Being a Grandpa was his favorite thing to be.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield, with interment following at Pleasant View Cemetery, Elkland. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.
