Kyle Dean Peterson

Kyle Dean Peterson, Fordland, was born September 23, 1945 in Bethany, MO to Robert and Corda (Conley) Petersen. He departed this life on January 28, 2019 in his home at the age of 73.

Kyle previously worked as a truck driver. He served in the United States Navy, and was Lutheran in faith. He had built props for sets in Hollywood, and was a roommate with Dan Haggerty, who played Grizzly Adams on t.v. His hobbies included fishing, cars, and NASCAR. He was a master carpenter who made beds, dressers, and cabinets.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Pete Petersen; and his sister, Brenda Armstrong.

Survivors include his son, James Dean Jackson, Brookfield, MO; his sister, Creeda Hughes, Breckenridge, MO; and five grandchildren, Lilian, Simon, Noah, Jacob, and Kyle.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO, with escort by the Patriot Guard Riders. Services will be under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
