Lance Detherow

Lance Wayne Detherow, Marshfield, was born October 10, 1976 in Springfield, MO to Leslie and Bobbie (Wallace) Detherow. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the age of 42.

Lance enjoyed playing video games, watching action movies, and listening to all types of music. He loved playing poker, cooking, and working on vehicles. He treasured time spent with his family. They will miss his smile, his laughter and jokes, and his heart of gold.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Bobbie; his grandparents, Luther and Ethel Detherow, and Bobby Wallace; and his uncle, Buddy Detherow.

Lance is survived by his father and stepmother, Les and Cynthia Marie Detherow, Marshfield; his significant other, Shelly Kalman; his siblings, Christopher Grant, Springfield; Jamie Perez (Jesus), Marshfield, Leslie Marie Detherow (Cody Smith), Marshfield, Christina Lynn Detherow (Ryan Counts), Marshfield, Jessica Hunt (Eric), Springfield, Becky Dugan (Mike), Marshfield; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; his maternal grandmother, Carol Milligan, Marshfield; and his best friend, Darren Butts, Marshfield.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will be in Black Oak Cemetery.
