Leon Daniels

Stephenes Leon Daniels, Marshfield, was born February 26, 1943, in Diggins, Missouri to Clarence Otto and Freda Irene (Steward) Daniels. He passed away July 25, 2022, at the age of 79 at Webco Manor.

Leon served in the Missouri National Guard and was a flight instructor. Leon learned to play the fiddle at age 13, and spent many years as an active member of a bluegrass band. He was a member of the Marshfield United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kay Daniels; his brother-in-law, Gene Vining; his sister-in-law, Aileen Denholm and Harold; and his nephew, Brian Vining.

He is survived by his son, Stephen and Heather Daniels of Marshfield; his grandson, Brett Daniels of Marshfield; his sister-in-law, Pat Vining of Richmond, KS; and his nieces and nephews, Linda Sturgeon of Tonganoxie, KS, Carol Fellows of Lake Stevens, WA, Gregg Denholm of Tonganoxie, KS, Lorie Vann of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Rachel Casey of Kansas City, MO, and Becky Koch of Tucson, Arizona.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.

Graveside services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022, in Marshfield Cemetery.
