Marshall Dean Cantrell

Marshall Dean Cantrell, Marshfield, MO, was born January 24, 1942, in Duncan, MO, to Sherdon and Hazel (Fullington) Cantrell, and departed this life on Sunday, October 15, 2017, in his home.

On January 15, 1963, Marshall was united in marriage to Betty Clines. Together, they celebrated 54 years and 9 months of marriage. He was a member of Harvest Time Tabernacle Church, and was a mechanic for over 25 years at Marshfield Motors. He loved playing music and spending time with family. He loved celebrating the 4th of July each year, and enjoyed sitting drinking coffee with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherdon and Hazel Cantrell; three brothers, Toney Cantrell, Carlos Cantrell, and Zed Cantrell; and one sister, Frances Payton.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Cantrell, of the home; three sons, Eugene Cantrell and his wife, Sheila, Mike Cantrell, and Kevin Cantrell and his wife, Debbie, all of Marshfield; one daughter, Sandra Heithold and her husband, Robert, Marshfield; five brothers, Tom Cantrell and his wife, Mary, Strafford, MO, Emmett Cantrell and his wife Gwen, Rogersville, MO, Keith Cantrell and his wife, Cynthia, Hartville, MO, and Larry Cantrell and his wife Jearlene, Marshfield, MO, and Ronnie Cantrell; two sisters, Kathy Day and her husband, Tex, Seymour, MO, and Agnes and Bob McVay; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Hobie Cantrell.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Interment will follow in Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, at Fraker Funeral Home.
