Mary Lou Graves

Mary Lou Graves was born on August 25, 1940 to William and Ruth (Smith) Scott. She passed away on August 20, 2023 at the Marshfield Care Center.

Mary Lou married Ray Dean Graves on November 21, 1959.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Dean; her parents, William and Ruth Scott. Also her brothers, Robert Scott, Howard Lee Scott and Roy Scott.

Surviving are her stepsons, Ronald Graves and wife Pam, and David Lee Graves. She had four step-grandchildren, Samantha Graves, Christopher Graves, Michel Graves and Dusty Graves; ten step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Rost, Linda Devore and Blanche Firestone; brothers Raymond Scott and wife Carolyn and Larry Scott and wife Tammie; lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; sisters-in-law, Rachel Young, Norma Robinson, Nancy Williams, Kay Graves; Jimmy and Arlene Graves, brother and sister-in-law.

She was a member of Mt. Sinai Christian Church. She was a brilliant seamstress, sewing wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses and all other clothes. She loved visiting with family and friends and doing crossword puzzles. She was a wonderful Big Sister to her family and will be missed very much, but know God took her home.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2023 in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in Marshfield Cemetery.
