Moses M. Miller passed away peacefully at the home of his son near Buffalo, MO on April 27, 2021.

            He was born February 23, 1928 in Kokomo, Indiana and reached the age of 93 years, 2 months and 4 days.

            He accepted the Lord in his youth and was a determined example of Christian living. He also had a burden for the spiritual welfare of his family and others around him. In one of his last prayers, he said, “Bring us all to a blessed end when we close our eyes in death.”

            He married Barbara Miller at Kalona, Iowa on November 23, 1950 and lived in matrimony 58 years and 10 months.

            He is survived by four sons and one daughter: Arlin and wife Mary Ann (Weaver) of Buffalo, MO. Faye and husband Nathanael Martin of Mount Pleasant, PA. Lynford and wife Susan (Byler) of Eureka, NV. Sanford and wife Gloria (Gingerich) of Florida, Uruguay, S. America. Llewellyn and wife Rachel (Weaver) of Abingdon, VA. He is survived by one sister, Sara Miller of Kalona, Iowa. Also 32 grandchildren and 72 great-grandchildren.

            He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara on September 23, 2009; 6 infant great-grandchildren; his 3 brothers, Ivan, David and Levi; and one sister, Elva.

            He enjoyed farming, house construction, fishing and woodworking for family use and gifts.  He was a detailed story teller.

            Over the years, he and Barbara served as house parents in various missions as well as boarded numerous school teachers.

            They enjoyed traveling, visiting friends and relatives and a number of foreign countries.

            The family thanks everyone for their support during our father’s failing health. Your prayers and visits are appreciated.

            Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2021 at Plad Mennonite Church, Tunas, MO, with interment following in Plad Mennonite Cemetery, Tunas.
