Regina Mills

Regina Mills, Hartville, was born May 6, 1951 in Sanger, CA to Roy and Johnnie (Gregory) Bryson. She departed this life on October 30, 2023, in her home at the age of 72.

Regina's hobbies included collecting and polishing rocks, working in her flower beds, sewing and crocheting a multitude of quilts and blankets for friends and family.  She loved to cook southern style and her specialties included ribs, Mexican food and baked goods.  While she didn't follow traditional recipes, her motto was always to measure with your heart.  Regina was everyone's Grammy and her dinner table could hold 2-15 people at any given time. Home was always where Regina was. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Regina married her husband David on April 1, 1970 in her parents home. They were married at 9 o'clock at night and everyone that was invited showed up to see if it were an April Fools joke. They were just two fools who fell in love. Every anniversary, Regina would tease David and say "I sure fooled you!"

Regina was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers David and Barry Bryson.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, David Mills, of the home, her children Kimberly Rikard (Clay Akins), Marshfield, Carolyn Hardy (Yusuf Eskili), Springfield; Amanda Gault (Douglas Gault) Killeen, TX; her brother Dean  Bryson (Carol), Springfield; sister, Alice Baughn, Wonder Valley, CA; grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, Ivy,  Carley, Dalton, Rebecca, Reilly, Dougie, Ercillia, Kya, Madeleine, Lyla, Cody, and Summer; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Dahlia, Darla, Layla, Priscilla, Douglas, Annalise, Amerah and Asaiah.
