Marven Roy Redus
Marven Roy Redus was born June 29, 1947 in Mammoth Springs, AR to Leamon Roy and Violet Wanitta Redus. He passed away on November 3, 2021 in his home surrounded by his family.
He graduated Doniphan, MO High School. Marven married Norma Jean on June 19, 1978. He was a retired restaurant worker and Vietnam War veteran who served in the Army.
Marven enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going to the dirt track races, bowling, and watching his granddaughter at Tae Kwon Do.
He is survived by his brother Mickel Redus and wife Karen of Springfield, MO, two sons, David Redus of Republic, MO, and James Redus and wife Nicole of Springfield, MO, one daughter, Christina Ward and husband Tom of Jefferson City, MO, twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous extended family members, nieces, nephews, and several friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Norma and his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 8, 2021 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., with interment following in Welch Cemetery. Visitation will be before services from 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home.
