Solweig "Sally" Riggle

Solweig “Sally” Riggle, was born February 7, 1941, in Brunn, Germany to Helmut and Lisa (Harden) Schmerda. She departed this life on December 29, 2024, in her home at the age of 83.

Sally was a retired dog groomer, horticulturalist, and reborn doll artist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Wallace Riggle; one daughter, Kathleen Henson; her stepson, Willard Riggle; and grandson Bryan Lutz.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Christine Kesterson and husband Robert, of Marshfield;  her stepson, Wallace J. Riggle of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Nathaniel Kesterson of Marshfield, Katie Genetti and J.D. of Marshfield, Brittania Thomison of Belton, TX and Courtney Henson of Nacogdoches, TX; two step-grandchildren, Bradley Riggle, stationed overseas, and Joey Riggle, OK; seven great-grandchildren, Timber Genetti, Marshfield, Stalye Thomison, Temple, TX, Dalyn Thomison, Temple, TX, Davin Thomison, Belton, TX, August Thomison, Belton, TX, Liam Henson, Nacogdoches, TX, and River Mihatsch, Nacogdoches, TX.

Interment will be in Garden of Memories, Killeen, TX, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
