Kathryn Louise Roetto

Kathryn Louise Roetto, Springfield, was born August 31, 1928, to John and Ada (Rader) Hargus. She passed away November 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in Maranatha Village at the age of 94.

She spent four years at Webco Manor and four years at Maranatha Village where she was among many wonderful people. She loved putting puzzles together, reading, suduko and watching tv. She loved flowers of all kinds and cooking when she was younger and at home. She always had something good to eat and if not, she’d just get up and fix something. Her granddaughters loved baking cookies with ma. She will be greatly missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Nick Roetto who passed away in 2004; her parents, John and Ada Hargus; her five sisters, Pearl Stigall, Ruby Rippee, Hazel Rankin, Jo Helen Ivie, Imogene Willis; her two brothers, Glen Hargus, Foster Hargus; three nephews, Sherman Wayne Stone, James Dwight Stone, Robert Willis; and two nieces, Jeanette Betnar, and Linda Kutz.

She is survived by one brother, Jerry Hargus and wife Barbara of Marshfield, her daughters, Teresa Nichols and husband Dave of Springfield, Tami Roetto of Springfield; two granddaughters, Misty Lopez and husband Darren, Lacey Smith and husband Justin; one great grandson, Cole Martin; four great granddaughters, Nikayla Martin, Jada Lansberg, Hannah O’Neal, and Greta Arnett; two step great grandchildren, Mason Smith, and Arielle Lopez; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held November 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in Marshfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Rotary International Polio Plus and may be left in care of the funeral home.
