Ruby L. Butzler
Ruby L. Butzler, Marshfield, was born May 1, 1927 in Brushy Knob, MO to Jack and Hazel (Bordner) Page. She departed this life on May 1, 2019 at Phelps Health, Rolla, at the age of 92.
Ruby’s life was taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had no children of her own and was the happiest woman in the world when, on December 22, 1969, she married James and got three children to love as her own. She loved quilting, scrapbooking, playing cards, and sports with her grandkids. She shared stories of her parents and growing up with her grandchildren, and was always clipping cartoons out of the newspaper to send in cards to them.
She had worked as a meat cutter at Oscar Meyer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Royce, Jean, Shirley, Norman, and Wayne.
Ruby is survived by her husband, James Butzler of the home; sons, Ronald Butzler (BeBe), McLoud, OK, Peter Butzler (Amanda), Devils Elbow, MO, and Dave Butzler (Debi), Bellview, TN; brother, Don Page, Idaho; grandchildren, James J. Butzler, Matthew Butzler, Eric Butzler, Dylan Butzler, and Dustin Butzler; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jearhima, and Madelyn.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2019 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2019 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
