Frances Sue Sampson

Frances Sue Sampson, Seymour, was born January 29, 1946, to Virgil and Ida Mae (Kleier) Gallion in Seymour, MO. She departed this life on February 15, 2022, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield.

She was a loving and faithful wife to Thomas Earl Sampson, united in marriage June 8, 1962. She was also a wonderful and nurturing mother to her children. She was blessed with eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She had a lot of family and friends. She had a great faith in God and was saved at an early age. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Diggins, MO.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Shane; one granddaughter, Ashley; one sister, Cathy Garfit; two brothers, James Gallion, and Jesse Gallion; two sister-in-laws, Etta Gallion, Dee Gallion; and two brother-in-laws, Archie Owens, and James Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Earl Sampson; her children, Robin and Michael Fisher, Barbara Sampson, Sandy and Kelly Young, Andy and Tammy Sampson, Amanda Brooke; her brothers, Gene Gallion, Richard Gallion, Henry Gallion (Michelle); her sisters, Alice Ragsdale (Johnny), Linda Owens, Elsie Smith, Carol Gardner (Joe); nine grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

Until we meet again. It’s not fun being old...but it was fun getting there.

 Celebration services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022, in her home located at 721 Duncan Road, Seymour, MO, under the care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
