Donald Eugene Scheetz, Jr.
Donald Eugene Scheetz, Jr., Niangua, was born May 21, 1956 in Topeka, KS to Donald and Mary (Bayless-Brown) Scheetz. He departed this life on November 21, 2021 in his home at the age of 65.
Donald was a farmer, mechanic and dump truck driver. He was a Member of St. Marks United Methodist Church.
Donald was a family man he would do anything for his family or those who were like family. Some deemed him a little obsessive but he would just say he was organized when you would comment about how he would make lists for everything including his two page paper on his shop items. You could always count on him to be up by 4am (farming hours) and he was bound to call someone at that time just to talk. Those phone calls every person will miss.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Elizabeth Cox; stepbrothers, Dale Brown and Steve Brown; and stepsister, Susan Wilkerson.
Donald is survived by his wife, Tami Scheetz, of the home; three children, Michael Scheetz (Kattie), Niangua, Anthony Scheetz (Amanda), Niangua, and Heather Cash (Thomas), Niangua; his sister, Lorinda Peck (Steve), Springfield; two stepbrothers, Robert Brown (Gladys) Conway, and Rick Brown (Kathy), Willard; eighteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., with visitation before services from 1-2 p.m. Saturday. Interment will follow in Amity Cemetery, Niangua. Any and all are welcome to attend for we know Don touched many lives.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Niangua Backpack Program or Niangua Fire Department, and left in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, MO, 65706.
