Steven Lee Bertoldie

Steven Lee Bertoldie, son of  Jack and Darlena (Rudolph) Bertoldie, was born November 1, 1959. He went home to the Lord Tuesday, September 12, 2017 after a long battle with prostate cancer.

He was a life-long active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where his faith was the most important. He was a dedicated employee of Roadway until his illness made it impossible to work.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, David, Douglas, Bradley and Michael; his father-in-law, Douglas Callahan, Sr.; sister-in-law, Carla Bertoldie; and one nephew, Patrick Bertoldie.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie; two sons and their wives, Ricky and Kathi Bertoldie, Ozark, and Michael and Rebekka Nicholl, Hollister; one daughter and her husband, Melissa and Jeff Bosch, Olathe, KS; his grandchildren, Jack, Sara, Issiah, Ellizabeth, Evaline and Maxwell; his brothers and their wives, Larry and Leta Bertoldie, Marshfield, and Tony and Pam Bertoldie, Conway; his sisters-in-law, Kim Bertoldie and Shannon Bertoldie, both of Marshfield; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Marshfield. Interment will follow in the Marshfield Cemetery, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.

Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday in the church.

The family expresses appreciation to Hospice Compassus for their wonderful care. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
