Virginia Mae Van Zandt

Virginia Mae (Clift) Van Zandt, Springfield, was born May 2, 1930 in Marshfield, MO to Roy and Lizzie (Cantrell) Clift. She departed this life on Friday, March 9, 2018 in Springfield Nursing and Rehabilitation at the age of 87.

Virginia worked for Ozark Manufacturing Company before starting her own business,   Virginia’s Upholstery, which she did for fifteen years. She attended James River Assembly Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Sandra Van Zandt; five brothers; two sisters; and her grandson, Matthew Van Zandt.

She is survived by her son, Cicero Harrison Van Zandt, Jr., Aldrich, MO; her daughter,  Vickie Van Zandt, Springfield, MO; her stepdaughter, Karen Sue Rose, Springfield, MO; her stepson, James Starr, Quinlan, TX; four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Clift, Niangua, MO, and  Russell Clift, Marshfield, MO; and one sister, Evalee Collins, Marshfield, MO.

 Funeral services for Virginia Mae Van Zandt will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 in Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, MO, with burial following at Prospect Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, March 15.
