Paul Kenneth West, son of John and Faye West, was born July 6, 1935 in Northview, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, March 25, 2021 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 85 years, 8 months and 19 days.

On October 19, 1959 he was united in marriage to Marilyn Irene (Latham) West, and to this union a daughter and a son were born.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law, Wilburn and Emmagene West, sister-in-law Marie West, brother-in-law David Rust and brother-in-law Jerry Schafer.

Paul is survived by his loving wife Marilyn of 61 years and 5 months, daughter Marquetia (West) Horn and husband Jim of Seymour, Missouri, son John West and wife Cindy of Marshfield, Missouri, sisters, Betty Rash of Bolivar, Missouri, Sue Rust of Marshfield, Missouri, Stella Schafer of Marshfield, Missouri and brother Danny West and wife Johnny of Marshfield, Missouri, 7 grandchildren, Dustin Doyal and wife Melissa of Hinesville, Georgia, Michelle Young and husband Damon of Springfield, Missouri, Lacey Ellison of Rogersville, Missouri, Micayla Helms and husband Cody of Seymour, Missouri, Courtney Ellison and husband Cody of Rogersville, Missouri, Jonna Cloyd and husband Brandon of Marshfield, Missouri and John (Duke) West of Marshfield, Missouri. Ten great-grandchildren, Kylie, Danner and Easton Doyal, Wyatt, Colden and Rhett Ellison, Derek and Paitlyn Helms, Addison Helms, Waylon Cloyd and a host of nieces and nephews.

Paul was born and raised in Northview, Missouri and had a passion for old cars and trucks. He also loved yard sales, antique markets and auctions. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Paul was never concerned about what was for dinner, but he sure wanted to know what was for dessert!

He was a loving husband, Dad, Grandpa, brother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and will treasure the wonderful memories he has created with his family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., with interment following in Welch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2021 in the funeral home.
