Daniel Eugene Wheeler

Daniel Eugene Wheeler, Marshfield, was born July 9, 1945, to Argil and Marjorie (Bullard) Wheeler. He departed this life on October 8, 2024, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 79 years.

Dan was a skilled carpenter and factory worker. He broke many horses. He found great joy in delivering meals on wheels for ten years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Orval Evans; sisters, Mary Livingston, Donna Waddell; and brother, James Evans.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Jean (Willis) Wheeler of the home; one son, Doug Wheeler and Cindy of Marshfield; three grandchildren, Tucker Wheeler, Breanna Wheeler, Tyler Wheeler; one brother, John Dale Evans and Sandy of Marshfield; one sister, Tammie Scott and Larry of Marshfield; and many other family and friends.

 Funeral services will be on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in Marshfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday before services in the funeral home.
