Patsy Ladeana Asher

 
 

Patsy Ladeana Asher, Niangua, was born March 13, 1943, to Ernest and Gladys (White) Bowling in Galena, Missouri. She departed this life December 25, 2024, at the age of 81 years.

Patsy’s life was full of family, friends and church. She was a hard-working farm woman who enjoyed spending time swimming in the creek with the kids, going to yard sales and auctions. She was an exceptional cook; she made the best cinnamon rolls and apple crisps. She enjoyed crafting with the grandkids, even making their valentine boxes every year. She treasured her time spent at youth camp running the camp store and with her family, who she loved dearly.  She was a faithful member of Greater Life Apostolic Church (Diggins Apostolic Church) for 54 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Asher; her brothers, Bob Bowling, Dewey Bowling, Richard Bowling; her sisters, Ernestine Hammons, Ilene Edwards, Maxine Hale, and Sondra Bowling.

She is survived by her children, Donna Young and Darren of Seymour, Donetta Yates and Steven of Niangua, Terry Asher and Amanda of Niangua; her siblings, Doris Thompson of Joplin, Joan Crane of Clever, Linda Medley and Ray of Lebanon, Sheryl Sawyer and Leonard of Crane; seven grandchildren, Jerry “J.C.”, Makalee, Jacqueline, Savannah, Hunter, Abigail, Lily; seven great-grandchildren, Jayce, Juliana, Kayauna, Jimmy, Jessalyn, Ariarose, and Eldon.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Greater Life Apostolic Church in Diggins with visitation before services at 10:00 a.m., under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery, Niangua, Missouri.

Memorial contributions may be made to Greater Life Apostolic Church “building fund” in Diggins and may be left in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, Missouri.
