Milton James Freitas

Milton James Freitas, Marshfield, was born February 1, 1943, to Milton and Vernona (Scott) Freitas in Monterey, California. He departed this life December 25, 2024, in his home at the age of 81 years.

Milton enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Milton is survived by his children, Kimberly Elwart of Marshfield, Manuel Freitas of Brentwood, California; his sister, Susan Holland of Novato, California; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Justin, Brenden, and Aiden; five great-grandchildren, Titali, Nakoa, Kaelo, Sione, and Hezekiah.

Burial will be in Springfield National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025 under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, Missouri.

Cremation is entrusted to the care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
