Avis Arlene Hartley

Avis Arlene Hartley, Marshfield, was born November 16, 1938 in Redtop, MO to Champ and Arlice (Freeman) Cruse. She departed this life on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the age of 79 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield.

Avis attended SMSU. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her grandsons. She loved them unconditionally. Her family will miss her constant support and love.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her stepfather, Joe DeVina; and her son-in-law, Michael Bertoldie.

She is survived by her son, Miles Allen Hartley, Kansas City, MO; daughter, Shannon Bertoldie, Marshfield, MO; stepdaughter Autumn Cook, Birmingham, AL; her former husband, Richard Hartley, Birmingham, AL; her grandchildren, Christopher Daniel Hartley, Richard Bertoldie, Curtis Bertoldie, and Virginia Cook; and one great-grandchild on the way.
