Karen Ann Basinger

Karen Ann Basinger, Niangua, MO, was born August 11, 1964, in Chenon, France. She departed this life on October 20, 2024, in her home at the age of 60.

Karen was part of the Steppers team in high school, which led her to be an Arthur Murray Dance School instructor as well as a cruise ship dance instructor. She worked for the city of Baldknob, Arkansas and later at Casey’s. She loved people. Karen will be remembered for her contagious laugh and the fact that she could count to ten in three different languages before she started kindergarten.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Sobiech, III.

Karen is survived by her mother, Anita Keeling, Niangua, and her sister, Teresa Keeling, Niangua.

Memorial services are pending, and will be announced by Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
