David Lee Moore

 
 

David Lee Moore, Marshfield, was born August 20, 1945, to Buford Gus and Ruby Louise (Wheeler) Moore in Hartville, Missouri. He departed this life October 17, 2024, in his home at the age of 79 years.

David was a member of Landmark Christian Church and of Stained-Glass Theater. He enjoyed acting, singing, writing poetry, modeling/commercials for Bass Pro Shops and various businesses. David was always the life of the party; he loved to entertain people, and he was known for all his jokes. David’s passion was youth evangelism, prison ministry and bringing others to Christ. David and Nina owned and operated Nina’s Hairstyling and Tropical Tans on the square for over 20 years. David also at one point had a little chili restaurant next door called “Harley’s Chili Mac.”

He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Brenda Joyce Moore; and his brother, Thomas Harlan Moore.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nina (Lonon) Moore of the home; children, Debbie Moore-Miller of Newport Beach, CA, David “Harley” Harlan Moore of Marshfield; his siblings, James Burford Moore (Sharon Kay) of Mesa, AZ, Dennis Daniel Moore (Margaret Heigel) of Branson; his grandchildren, Dylan Kai Miller, and A.J. Guitron-Moore.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will be in Marshfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from noon – 1:00 p.m., in the funeral home.
