Betty Jane Bouldin
Betty Jane Bouldin passed away peacefully on September 1, 2021 at Morningside east of Springfield at the age of 90. Betty was born in Niangua Missouri on May 10, 1931 to the parents of Ira and Stella Walton. She was one of five children born to Ira and Stella and was preceded in death by her sisters Kathleen, Ruth, Patsy and her youngest brother Freddy. She was married to Harold W Bouldin on April 15 of 1951 who preceded her in death by 92 days and into that union was born two sons Kevin and Doug. She is survived by her son Doug (Marilee) and faithful pet Wally the wonder dog. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Betty was known for her upbeat attitude, loving disposition, and forgiving heart. She spent 27 years in the service of St. John’s Mercy Hospital as an executive secretary. She also spent 70 years as a dedicated wife and business partner to her husband Harold in their farm and cattle business. Her Legacy as a loving mother, supportive wife and ”the best grandma in the world” will be forever memorialized by the lives she touched on her journey and her loving family and extended family.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
