Pat Burchfield

Patricia Ann (Pat) Burchfield, Conway, was born February 9, 1930, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Eugene and Martha (Stouffer) Myers. She departed this life on May 17, 2023, at Springhouse Village Assisted Living, Springfield, at the age of 93.

Pat was a cherished wife and mother. She began a teaching career as a vocational home economics teacher in New Mexico prior to marriage. In 1955, Pat married Noel, and when he finished his tour of duty with the United States Air Force, they moved to Missouri. There they raised four children, while assisting in running the family farm.

Pat was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her family and friends and made the most of every moment with them. She was a lifelong gardener, excellent cook, and one of the founding members of St. Luke Needle & Thimble quilting club.  Pat was a faithful member of St. Luke Methodist Church since her move to Missouri until health prevented her from attending.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents.

Pat is survived by her husband of 67 years, Noel; two sons, Arden and Don; two daughters, Kathy (Bill) Moss, and Laura (Craig) Nordgren; one sister, Mary Adkins; three grandchildren, Jessica (Dan) Friberg, Jarrod (Jen) Nordgren, and Joshua (Diona) Moss; five great grandchildren, Sam and Claire Friberg, Addie and Reagan Nordgren, and Elliot Moss; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday before funeral services. Interment will be in St. Luke Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
