Dean O. Cansler

Dean O. Cansler, Marshfield, was born February 20, 1941 in Bolivar, MO to Otis and Opal (Hartzog) Cansler. He departed this life on August 27, 2023 in Cox South hospital at the age of 82.

Dean worked as dentist for 55 years. He was a member of Marshfield United Methodist Church. He was a very involved member in the Marshfield Lions Club, serving as president for a time. He had been a member and president of the Webco Board, and an active member of the Missouri Dental Association. In his free time, Dean enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a NASCAR fan, especially #1 Jamie McMurray.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dean is survived by his daughter, Ashley Cansler, Marina del Rey, CA; and his son, Damon Cansler, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2023 in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, with interment following in Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, August 31 in the funeral home.
