Delbert Jason Cantrell

Delbert Jason Cantrell, son of Jason and Ruby (Hargus) Cantrell, was born October 22, 1941 in Seymour, MO. He went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2022 at the age of 81.

Delbert married Patricia Myers on December 14th, 1962. They would have been married 60 years in December. TO this union one son Ricky Lynn was born. They were blessed with three grandsons, 2 great-grandsons, three great granddaughters and one great granddaughter due in January.

Delbert went to a one room school, Liberty, in rural Seymour. He finished his 8th grade there. He never went to high school. Delbert started working at Hutchins in Marshfield in March 1962 and worked there until going to the Mansfield plant. He retired in February 1997 after 35 years at the age of 55 as plant manager.

Delbert was a member of Northview Tabernacle Baptist where he had served as superintendent, and was also a deacon.

He was a loving Husband, Daddy, and Pape. He will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife Patricia of the home; his son, Rick and wife Glenda, Marshfield; grandsons Delbert and wife Luana, Ricky Lynn and wife Chelsie, all of Marshfield, and Joseph Hardy; two great-grandsons, Tray Austin Cantrell and Hunter Cantrell; three great-granddaughters, Hailie Renee Cantrell, Octavia Danielle Cantrell, Kyla Renea Cantrell and one great-granddaughter due in January; very special friends, Fred and Wanda Napier; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. He was loved by all.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., with interment following in Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, in the funeral home.
