Donald Leroy Yates

Donald Leroy Yates, son of Darrell Leroy and Elsie Marie (Smiley) Yates was born on March 23, 1945, in Marshfield, Missouri and passed away on September 30, 2022 at his home in Marshfield, at the age of 77.

Donald served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He was a truck driver for many years and was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.

He is survived by three sons, Steve, Chuck and Jason Yates; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Treva.

Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held in the Marshfield Cemetery on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Robbie Colten, officiating. The family will receive friends and guests Tuesday, October 4, from 6:00 - 7:00 PM in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, 1131 State Hwy A, Marshfield, MO.
