Vera Cantrell
Vera Fern Cantrell, Conway, was born August 1, 1938 in Ava, MO to Grover and Alma (Riley) Vogt. She departed this life on October 16, 2021 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 83.
Vera had worked as a nurse at White Oak Villa Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her children, William Cantrell, Mark Cantrell, and Mike Cantrell; twelve brothers and sisters; and her best friend of more than 70 years, Louise “Iva” Christian.
She is survived by her two children, Jeff Cantrell, Lebanon, and Sheila Bumgarner and husband Jesse, Conway; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
