Glenna Knight
Glenna Rae Knight, age 86, was born on April 10, 1935 to Sam and Edna (Fausnight) Knight in Akron, Ohio. She passed on to her greatly anticipated Home in Heaven on October 13th, 2021.
Glenna was the first child of what would be the five Knight Sisters. Glenna Knight, Marlene (Gaylerd) Miller, LaVonne (Will) Overholt, Ruth (Vince) Hamm and Martha (David) Miller. Our sweet Martha passed away in December, 2020. Nephews Sam, Steve (deceased), Tony, Mylon and Ronald. Nieces, Joy, Anita, Crystal, Angie and Laurie.
Glenna loved her job of Nursing and was a blessing to so many people. Her generous heart reached out in many directions. She worked for a Doctor who did home deliveries for the Amish. She would go before the Doctor and made sure everything was ready. Oh the experiences she had!
Her sweet, smiling love will be greatly missed.
Funeral services for Glenna Knight will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 at Mt. Zion Church of Christ Holiness Chapel, Ava, MO, with visitation before services from 1-2 p.m. Interment will follow in Hodge Cemetery, Seymour. Services are under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
