James "J.D." Cornelison

James David “J.D.” Cornelison, Marshfield, was born October 15, 1964 in Springfield, MO to Jerry “Joe” and Nancy (Ortner) Cornelison. He departed this life on October 24, 2022 in his home at the age of 58.

J.D. enjoyed the outdoors, especially dealing with his cattle and horses. He loved spending time and vacationing with his grandchildren. J.D. enjoyed going on cruises, having a bonfire with a beer and good friends, and was a great storyteller. He had worked as a carpenter, building homes. He was a member of the McDonald’s Morning Coffee Club.

J.D. was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Becky Jo Cornelison; and very special cousin, Billy Joe Cornelison.

He is survived by his loving wife, Alesia (Schauf) Cornelison, of the home; two children, Joe Don Cornelison and wife Nicole, Springfield, and Dakota Marie Lynch and husband Justin, Republic; his sister, Tina Kays and husband Scott, Seymour; seven grandchildren, Jaxten “Duke” Cornelison, Greyson Lynch, Jayden “J-Bird” Lynch, Nelaya Stockstill, Jaxson Swisher, Jameson Stevens, and Natalee Stevens; his mother-in-law, Judy Luttrull; his brothers-in-law, Glenn Luttrull and Mitch Schauf; his sisters-in-law, Cindy Detherow and husband, Les, Rita Hunter, and Rogina Wellard; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Funeral services for J.D. Cornelison will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc, with interment following in Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday, October 28, in the funeral home.
