David Catron

David Allyn Catron, son of Daniel Catron and Evelyn (Birnkrant) Catron, was born July 1, 1950 in Sylmar, CA. He passed away at 6:52 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2018 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 67.

 Dave was a well-known mechanic in the Marshfield area and worked at the Marshfield Wal-Mart for many years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War and was an active member of the Webster County VFW Post 4101.  He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Marshfield.

 He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Catron; and one sister, Peggy Rosenberg. 

 Survivors include two sons and their wives, Trevor and Mandy Catron, Springfield, and Evan and Jenni Catron, Marshfield; his mother, Evelyn Catron, California; six grandchildren, Steven, Anna, Lily, Ava, Jacob, and Jack; his love and partner, Caryn Wullner; one brother, Ken Catron, California; two sisters, Martha Bowland (Pat), Montana; Jeanne Gonzalez (Gilbert), California; and former spouse, Teresa Davis. 

 Graveside services with military honors will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 in the First Baptist Church, Marshfield.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 in the First Baptist Church, Marshfield. Dave's family is honoring his wishes that the casket is to be closed.
