Verla B. Green

Verla B. Green, Marshfield, MO, was born September 4, 1925 in Quincy, WA, to Charles and Minnie (McCutchen) Brangan. She departed this life on Thursday, February 2, 2018 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 92.

Her family moved to Elkland, MO, when she was pre-teen, and she graduated high school there. Verla was the former owner of Clippers and Dippers Dog Grooming. She was a member of Hood United Methodist Church, Republic, MO.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles and Minnie Brangan; her husband, Howard; two sons, Charles William Lee and Robert Lee; her brothers, Bob and Slim Brangan; and a sister, Vera Brangan.

Verla is survived by her son, Michael Lee, Elkland, MO; her daughter, DeLane Lee-Engle and her husband Tim, Billings, MO; a foster son, Bill Gedye, Marion, OH; her grandson, Hombre' Lee and his wife Marye-Auna, Springfield, MO; great-grandchildren, Jessica Lee, Charles Lee, Sharaiah Lee, all of Springfield, MO; one great-great-grandson, Roxas Lee, Springfield, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services  for Verla Green will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 5, 2018, in the  Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Marshfield. Interment will follow in the Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, February 4, in Fraker Funeral Home.
