George "Allen" Friend

George Allen Friend was born March 1, 1975 in Springfield, MO to George Merrill and Mary Friend. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 42.

He loved Santa Claus, and roman candles on the Fourth of July. He also loved children. Sweet tea and chocolate were his favorite treats. He could light up any room with his smile.

He is survived by his brothers, Roger and Billy; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane and Sara; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 Saturday, March 3, 2018 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 5234 State Hwy. EE, Springfield, MO, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
