Betty Marie Greene

Betty Marie Greene, Fordland, was born August 30, 1945, to Marvin and Marie (Casteel) Hoagland. She departed this life September 25, 2024, at the age of 79 years.

Betty was an LPN in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. She enjoyed gardening, especially her 40 rose bushes. She loved to bake and spend time with her beloved family. She always enjoyed going on camping trips with Larry and family. She will be greatly missed, her sense of humor, her love and compassion.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Debbie Childress, Brenda Woods; brothers, Harold Hoagland and Alfred Hoagland.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Greene of the home; children, Angela Owens (Ben) of Fordland, Larry A Greene (Cyndi) of Bolivar, Tammy Fitzpatrick (Steve) of Springfield, Christy Feeback (Will) of Fordland; sons-in-law, Randall Childress, Sr., of Seymour, Tom Woods, Jr., of Fordland; sibling, Lester Hoagland (Connie) of Warsaw; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 30, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will be in Seymour Masonic Cemetery.

Visitation will be before services Monday from noon - 1:00 p.m., in the funeral home.
